The Apparition gets rated by the MPAA

Todd Lincoln’s supernatural thriller ‘The Apparition‘  starring  Ashley Greene in the lead role along with Sebastian Stan, Tom Felton and Luke Pasqualino has been given a PG-13 rating by the MPAA  for ‘terror/frightening images and some sensuality‘. The film now stands at a yet to be determined 2012 release date.

Ashley’s other upcoming film ‘Butter‘ has also been recently rated by the MPAA, but nabbed an R rating instead for ‘language, sexual content, and brief drug use‘. It’s rumored to get a one-week run next month, October, followed by a wide release in 2012. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part I on the other hand received a PG-13 for ‘disturbing images, violence, sexuality/partial nudity and some thematic elements.’It opens in theaters on November 18, 2011.
