Gossip: Ashley Greene dating ‘Spider-Man’ star Reeve Carney, says NY Post.

  Ashley was supposedly spotted sharing a kiss with who seems to have been rumored new boyfriend Reeve Carney [Twitter]. This follows the emergence of pics of them together riding NYC subway on Monday. Page Six of NY Post now claims ‘sources’  have confirmed the pair are, in fact, dating:

Broadway “Spider-Man” star Reeve Carney has split with his co-star Jennifer Damiano and is already smitten with “Twilight” vamp Ashley Greene.

Sources close to the new couple say Greene, who played Alice Cullen in the wildly popular film adaptations of Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” novels, has been repeatedly spotted backstage with Carney.

We reported in June that Carney and his “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” leading lady Damiano, who play lovebirds Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, were dating after working “12 hours a day” to retool the show.

But, “Reeve’s relationship with Jennifer fizzled out, and he is now dating Ashley Greene,” a source confirmed to us.

The source added, “Ashley has been to the show a few times and has been introduced to Reeve’s mom. While it has been going on for a short time, it already appears pretty serious.”

“While Reeve and Jennifer broke up, they have continued to work together well and there doesn’t appear to be any animosity or bad blood.”

Greene, most recently linked to Joe Jonas, has been spending more time in New York after renting a downtown apartment.

Rumors of a romance between Greene and Carney started after they were spotted together on the subway this week. She’s also been photographed backstage at the show in March.

Reps for Carney and Greene didn’t get back to us last night. Rick Miramontez, spokesman for “Spider-Man,” said, “We don’t comment on the personal lives of our stars.”
