Skateland DVD & Blu-ray out on August 30

Skateland will be out on Blu-ray & DVD on August 30, 2011! It’s already available for pre-order at Amazon.com 

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is looking to bring home a festival darling in Skateland, the film nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, capturing the spirit of the rebellious youth spawned from the 1980s socio-economic status who are coming to terms with the end of an era as the roller-rinks are beginning to go the way of the dodo. Skateland will be made available for DVD and Blu-ray on August 30, 2011.

The movie stars Ashley Greene (Twilight saga) and Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood), as the pair develop a romance amidst the cultural climate shift. Both of the formats will feature some deleted scenes as supplemental material. The DVD will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) of $22.98, while the Blu-ray will run at the MSRP of $29.99.

The film is also scheduled to have its TV debut on Sky Movies Premiere HD channel the 22nd of this month.
