Ashley’s guest arc on the period drama ‘Pan Am’ will start tonight, December 4th, 10 EST | 9 central on ABC! After today’s episode, reruns will play over the holidays and the show will return beginning of January with five more episodes, three of which will also guest star Ashley!

If you are in North America make sure to tune in for all the upcoming episodes. It must be expected there would be a significant boost on Pan Am’s ratings with Ashley coming aboard, and we don’t want to disappoint ;)! Ratings are actually very crucial at this point. ABC announced that they’re committed to airing all the 14 episodes of the season, but whether or not the show will be cancelled afterwards or come back for a second season is still undecided. The ratings for the remaining 6 episodes and the reruns will be the basis for ABC’s decision. If you can’t watch, just make sure to switch to ABC on Sundays at 10 ET and mute the voice, or DVR the show and watch it within the next 24 hours (you won’t be counted otherwise). It’s actually really good and deserves a chance to grow and find its audience.

So, don’t forget to tune in for Ashley’s first appearance tonight, and feel free to come back here and discuss the episode in the comments!

Ashley gave E! the exclusive of the first details on her upcoming ‘Pan Am’ role!:

It’s always nice to have a backup plan when you’re one of the stars of a megafranchise that’s about to end. For example: Breaking Dawn‘s Ashley Greene is headed to prime-time television.

Greene just booked a three-episode arc on ABC’s Pan Am, but the details surrounding her role have been sparse. Until now.

Greene fills us in on the part, plus she reveals why she chose this as her first post-Twilight Saga gig…

I think Pan Am to me, when I look at it and when I watch it, seems like a mix of movie and TV; it’s not quite a film, it’s not quite TV. And it’s a really interesting thing, kind of along the lines of what HBO does,” Greene says. “I think it’s just very beautifully and well shot. And it’s in the 1960s, and I’ve been wanting to do something like that for a while.

Well, when you’re part of one of the biggest movie series of all time, you tend to be a little too busy to drop in on a television series.

But the Pan Am producers saw their chances when Greene found a space in her schedule after Breaking Dawn: Part 1 premiered.

They approached me probably a week ago and asked if I wanted to be a part of it, and I read this three-episode arc,” Greene told us. “It’s very interesting; it’s different than anything I’ve ever done. So I’m excited.

Greene will play Amanda, a childhood friend of Ted (Michael Mosley). “Their fathers are very good friends and [she] may or may not be romantically interested in him,” she tells us. “But she definitely has a twist. I feel like all of the characters have a twist, and so it was a very interesting character that I haven’t done yet.”

Her first episode, titled “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” airs Dec. 4.

Also, TVline had previously posted a small spoilerish piece on the introduction of Ashley’s character back in October (wasn’t announced then):
“Pan Am is about to introduce a woman from Ted’s past — and I mean his distant past. He and the newbie, Amanda Mason, were childhood playmates. Now, since she’s a senator’s daughter, he sees her as hoity-toity. The thing is, she’s not. So maybe a little somethin’-somethin‘ will develop between them over what is being talked about as a two- to three-episode arc.”

Thanks to, we have this scan of a short new Comic Con interview with Ashley, Nikki Reed, Julia Jones, Elizabeth Reaser and Boo Boo Stewart from an August issue of magazine called “TV Plus English”.

Q: What did you keep from set?

A: Or steal? I have a couple of things. They’ve been part of our lives for so long that I felt we had a right to take something. I took Alice’s necklace and a pair of American Apparel pants – which is ridiculous, but they are so comfortable – and big Jackie-O sunglasses that were iconic for Alice in one of the instalments. I took things that I know I’ll treasure 20 years from now.

Q: How are fans now? Still as intense as when it first started?

A: Everything gets crazier whenever a premiere is coming up. Instead of there being two paparazzi, there are 25, and there’s suddenly an interest in what we’re eating and what kind of dog we have.

We also have  a scan of a pic of Ashley with Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez at the Teen Choice Awards from “Hollywood Reporter” Magazine, and a new Breaking Dawn still from Entertainment Weekly!
